Software Retreats offer a three to four day hands-on concentrated learning event for 4D or 5D Embroidery software owners. Participants bring a laptop and dongle. The comfortably-paced class offers software owners the opportunity to explore essential concepts in each of the 4D or 5D software modules. Classes follow the Software Solutions: 4D Embroidery workbooks, but also provide extensive additional information and explanation of how to use many of the features of the software. This class is ideal for students desiring one-on-one interaction, time for questions, and time to explore all software modules in a concentrated, but relaxed time period.
Viking and Pfaff dealers may wish to host a 4D or 5D Software Overview event. This one hour lecture/demo format offers participants the opportunity to preview each of the 4D or 5D software packages and learn which package best fits their interests. Participants preview some of the fantastic features of each software module and are given an opportunity to ask questions. Students do not need to bring a computer or dongle to class as this is a lecture/demo. This class is appropriate for any number of students.
Special Project Classes offer intermediate students the opportunity to explore concepts of 4D or 5D Embroidery in a more in-depth format. Project classes are flexible based upon the available class time period and skill level of the participants. They may be tailored to a particular sewing or embroidery event. An example of a project class is "Color Processing Techniques in 4D Family Portrait" which was offered at the 2008 Annual Pfaff Dealer Convention or "Digitizing for 4D Monogram" (2009 Pfaff Convention).
